Music.
What can I say about it that hasn't already been said, or more fittingly, what praises can i sing that haven't already been sung? We all know it, we all love it, music is such a big part of all of our lives that it feels just silly to say you enjoy it. Because of course you do-everyone loves music! It envelops our world and shapes our culture, reflecting our lives and always being there for us, whether that be in the background or front and center demanding attention. It's human nature to sing, to dance, to learn the lyrics to a favortie song or try to figure out the melody on whatever instrument you find in your hands. I'd say that music is special to me, but that feels like both a common sentiment and simultaneously one that not many share-music means something to everyone, but not everyone appreciates it the same way. Do you get it?
I guess what I'm trying to say here is that music means a lot to me, but i don't know how to express the specific way it manifests to me in words. Which...duh. The whole point of music is to share feelings that transcend the use of words. Even the strongest lyrical writing doesn't top the overall vibe of a song being the thing to make or break the experience. So of course, when it comes time to describe that transcendent feeling, it only makes sense that one would feel speechless. Because nothing you could possibly say would accuratey capture the feeling of just listening to a good song and letting every part of it wash over you. Nothing beats resonating with a set of lyrics and feeling them in your bones every time those lines hit.
